Hooded Merganser

We went for a walk this afternoon and saw this Hooded Merganser cruising around the lake. He seemed to be in a hurry to get no where and then he rushed back again. Fun to watch all the ducks as we walked around Bethany Lake. The weather was pleasant but not as sunny or warm as yesterday. We saw the Eagle pair up in the same tree as yesterday; I am surprised how many people walk by and never see the Eagles or even notice the variety of ducks at the lake. I suppose years ago I might have been the same way. Oblivious.
