Eyes Under Water

We are escorting the Belgian Tug Union Manta through the English Channel ( I'll show you a picture of her tomorrow). It means that we are not towing and this gives me the opportunity to roam from one wreck to another. The English Channel is littered with thousands of ship wrecks. It is the sport to find them with our echo sounder and to get a picture of them. This is one of them, everything red is solid steel.

Our Echo Sounder is magic. A soon as he sniffs underwater steel he is getting very nervous and you'll see all kinds of disturbances on your screen. You can see them on the blue vertical bands of noise on the screen. As soon as he detects the wreck he'll show it in full glory. The only thing het asks is that you pinpoint navigate exactly over the wreckposition. This wreck is resting on her keel and is at least 10 meters high above the seafloor.
