Still cold

I am not sure I have seen the Medway frozen before but only because I never had a reason to walk across the bridge last winter. The birds could walk on it but not thick enough for people.  This is about 9:00am on my way to the office. There was still ice on the river at lunch time but the fog had gone. 
Although the river is navigable by boat there is a lock a bit further down river which is obviously stopping the flow so the river can freeze. .
