Red bricks

In 1936 Canadian distilling company Hiram Walker bought over the Glasgow-based distiller George Ballantine & Son Ltd. In 1938 they built a large whisky distillery on the river Leven (on the site of the Archibald McMillan shipyard). This iconic red brick building has watched over Dumbarton since then and this week it shall be slowly raised the ground and disappear from sight forever. Sad times but you can't stop progress. Enough history lessons this week I think .

In other news : My beautiful wife's Birthday today ( can't put her age) , ran this evening at our Cani-fit class and am now relaxing -
