Spring tine harrow

I took this on our afternoon walk today - the harrow has been left just at the edge of one of the local fields, it's had the addition of a wrench put on it recently, can't quite work out why it's there, I'm sure Dirk has told me a good reason that I've totally forgotten (sorry darling).   The picture doesn't do the day justice as it felt spring like to be out and filled you with the 'you can do anything' feeling that spring has.

Clearly, this sentiment is all well and good, but this morning I could barely sort parking out for the car, it took 20 minutes from getting to the car park today to getting out - it was a car park I hadn't used before and didn't have the right change, they didn't take cards and it was only on my third trip to the machine (on the other side of the car park) that I realised you could do it by phone - so had to go back to the car to read out the number plate.... one of those mornings.... later on the lady in the library came running after me with my bag as I'd left it with the library books to be returned.

Back to the afternoon walk, for that's far more positive, we had a lovely, very muddy walk, leaving the push chair at the edge of the field and traipsing through the mud.  Washing our boots when we got back was a very toddler-esq affair with the boy needing an entire change of clothes as it was far more fun to cover himself in freezing water than just wash his boots.
