Direction of Travel

The starling - another bird featured on Winterwatch. It always seems that there are plenty around - certainly judging by the amount of food they get through in the garden, but of course it isn't about numbers, it's about changes in numbers - population decline. I was just reading some BTO statistics, and one of the biggest population increases is Little Egret.
