Lucky 13th

Having sprayed the ball in all directions (often not very far!) for the first nine holes this morning, I totally mis-hit another one here at the 13th but somehow it ended up a foot from the hole leaving me a tap-in for a par. Somehow, I managed to play the back 9 in eleven shots fewer than the front 9 - though there was plenty of room for improvement :)

I was pretty lucky with the light for this shot too, taken looking back as we head for the 14th tee.

Spent the afternoon playing with the electric saw and some of the smaller branches lopped from the apple tree, before an appointment at the optician's for my annual eye-test.

Maybe I should have done things the other way round!
