A day of deep breaths and internal ranting. Probably best to look away now!
First of all The County Council have disagreed with the draft decision made by the Local Government Ombudsman with respect to the complaint we made. Just seeing emails in my inbox to do with all the problems we dealt with last year make me physically shake as it was all so stressful.
Then another battle looms - the CC have todate taken 140 days to supply the data we requested in September. Only data from half of the departments has been received so far. Our complaint is partly about their complaints department and lo and behold they are one of the departments that we are waiting for! As we have a right for data to be supplied within 40 days I am now going to report our concerns to the Independent Commissioners Office. I have a suspicion they are stalling so we are not in possession of information to backup our case with the LGO.
On top of that I havnt even tried my marmalade yet!
Rant over. Deep breath taken. Tomorrow will be a better day.
