Phone box to the rescue!

Another murky old day in Lakeland, but this old phone box in the village of Loweswater caught my eye. The last time I noticed it, it was a rather dejected looking phone box. Now it's a proud first-aid post with emergency telephone line and a defibrillator. What a brilliant use of an iconic box! A little on-line research told me that similar conversions of BT boxes have been taking place since March of 2016. If anyone's interested, you can read more about it here:
