Little house on the prairie

I made bread in the morning.  I decided to experiment with a 50/50 mix of white and rye flours at 70% hydration.  The rye flour has very little gluten so the kneading felt very different and the dough was very sticky.  Still, the bread has risen ok so we shall see how it turns out.  The sunshine tempted me to get the car out and walk out of Quadring village.  This is a house I have always admired right next to the church and school, the only three buildings well away from the main road and in the middle of the fields.
