A meeting today with Bobby & members of the Cathedral Education Team to plan a schools event. We are over-subscribed with children ... hundreds of them, and we've had some great ideas. It was really helpful to meet up today to put some of the great ideas behind us and develop one or two into a workable programme. I'm indebted to these folks with years of experience and a no-nonsense approach to getting things fine. Excellent people!

We met in the Cathedral, just under a memorial I hadn't seen before ....
To Dame Alice Row and Sarah Nash who, 300 years ago, bequeathed money to buy a meadow, the rent from which would buy bread for the poor ... forever! Ah, such foresight and such generosity.
