What an amazing....

....start to the day.

The sun hadn't peaked over the horizon when I set off to work but there was a beautiful subtle hue above the mist.

For the next ten minutes of my commute (after this shot was taken) it just got better and better, the big sun appeared behind the neutral density filter of the mist and I so wanted to stop to get a shot, unfortunately I was on a no stop dual carriage way and then the motorway.

If only work didn't always get in the way of a great photograph.

Anyway the church you can see here in Christ Church, Coseley where we had my nan's funeral service last year and I'm sure it's where my parents got married (will double check).
