Following yesterday's fun at the Zoo we decided to show my son-in-law some of the local scenery and we headed off for a round trip to Loch Tay at Kenmore and along the length of the loch to the very turbulent waterfalls at Killin and finally heading back down Loch Earn to Crieff. The first part took us up a very narrow road, high into the hills with several very sharp bends to negotiate and at the top we came across a tourist who was trying to get to Inverness "the shortest way" using his Satnav! I think he was getting a lot of grief from the wife!
We spent the afternoon at Loch Tay and while the boys and dogs played in the water we watched as rain clouds came and went on Ben Lawyers and surrounding hills. It was yet another day when we all ended up by being soaked at some stage, but if you let that bother you when you are on holiday then you will never see anything.
