Happy Girl!

I left Rachel's just after 9am as I had arranged to go and see Catherine who's the wife of an old school friend. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery just before Christmas, and started chemo last week. I've only met her a couple of times before, so hardly know her, but wanted her to know that I'm there for support should she need it. She has a very positive attitude which is good, and said she was pleased that I'd been to see her and said she'd like to keep in touch.

I stayed until 12.30 and then set off on my journey home. The traffic was free flowing and it only took 5 hours including a stop half way. I only hit the fog when I was about an hour from home, so I was quite lucky although it was very thick the further south I got.

This is little Miss Violet, shortly before I left, she's such a cutie - but then I guess I'm biased!
