There will be colour

14C heavy rain and breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound is having one of her distinctly not interested days when it comes to going outside. Can't say I blame her. We went out after lunch and she got 100 yards before the slowing down began and she wanted to go back.

I had a letter to post, so I popped Maeve in the car and drove to a post box in Carnoustie. I decided to come back via Westhaven and when I got there I parked the car in the little car park which is near the channel in the rocks that the Fishing boats use. The rain seemed to have relented a bit, so in a mad moment I left Maeve in the car and took a brisk (and very short) walk down onto the hard sand and grabbed a few shots of the nearest channel marker post which has remains of yellow paint on it.

I am quite sure it is a snap, and not a photo of any quality. Also Blipfoto says it can't find the EXIF data in the file, but it is there. I checked. On a rainy day and in the rainy rain and with the post all shiny and wet I am happy that I found some colour :-)

Later ... but not much ... when we got back home, I took Maeve for another short walk (for the purposes that dogs need to go outside) and the rain came on heavier again when we were a few hundred yards from the house !
Oops ... depressed soggy Maeve :-(

Things of note: I even put on a jumper today !
