Fingers and Toes
Awake 7.30, body still on Turkey time. A busy day out and about engaged in chores, then late afternoon, after a quick visit to Sandford Lock on the river Chelmer for today's photo, I went home to meet the painter/decorator and builder who both called about next phase of work at home. Then bro came for dinner.
The weather is something else! Woke to freezing fog and heavy frost coating the garden. Temperatures never more than 3ºC. Sun came out early afternoon, but walking about, especially along the river bank, my fingers and toes were completely numb. Been a while since I have been so cold. Even when in the heavy snow in Istanbul last month. That's the joy of a British winter, I suppose.
