A collection

I have picked up so many snail shells in my wanderings so I thought they might do for a mono monday.  I am also trying again to use manual mode which seems to be coming to me better with simple shots like this but when there is more subject/different lighting..then I can't really get my head around it.   But I will keep trying.  I think my main drawback is I just want to take the photo and let the camera do all the work except for the composition!
