The weather today was awful as predicted, wind and rain. The golf this morning was even worse. I really should have stayed in bed.

I spent part of this afternoon watching cricket on TV. Kent Spitfires against Sussex Sharks. Sussex can be seen here fielding with 'one slip' (he's the one at the top of the screen next to the wicketkeeper if your'e not a follower of cricket).

I am old enough to remember when the teams were just called Kent and Sussex and they all wore white instead of two tone blue. I'm not sure this is an improvement.

Time to go I'm beginning to sound like my father.
