School Dances

Tonight there was a formal dinner for our hall. I'm really not sure what to say. It was... interesting. In my typical fashion I was there right on time at 7 but most people didn't arrive till 8 and then we had 20min of speeches, by the end I was starving. They played the same songs on the 20 min loop (one of the songs was a Christmas song), it was so dark I could not see my food, and I spent the dinner watching others try to figure out which fork was the salad fork vs the dinner fork. But it was nice to be in an environment I understood eating a meal I was familiar with, salad, soup, pork scaloppini and desert.

Other then that, the second week of classes started and I'm still feeling good about them (But my Global Economic Environment class feels a bit easy, but that might just be me...) Oh and tomorrow after my morning classes we are going to some museums! All in all I think I'm starting to settle in....
