I didn't know that!

I'm still working on getting good focus with my macro lens.  Today I actually looked at it and was surprised to find: Full, .5 m - infinity, and .3m - .5 m on the barrel.  I've had it on full.  Decided to get out the lens instructions (which were still in plastic wrap).  Can't wait to find out what I've been missing.
