A real treat

This weekend our grandson Derek and his wife and friends were visiting from Denver. Today they came for lunch (the menu at Derek's request, was roast beef, Yorkshire  pudding and veggies). This menu he remembers from  Infant days when the whole family who was living in Lawrence came for dinner every week on Sunday. Always the same menu, only the dessert differed from week to week. Now they are scattered but they seem to remember it with fondness. 
In this shot round the table is our daughter Alison, Derek's friend Sean, Bert, Sarah (Andie's friend from childhood), Derek, Andie (Derek's wife) and Jim (our sil).
