Storm at sea...
All the crew members were chatting saying we were sailing into a ginormous storm so I went up, had one look and ran to get my camera. This photo is bright and fairly quick for shutter speed on lightening... but the storm honestly lit up the entire sky as if it was bright daylight and more. These massive flashes would happen every 5-10 minutes with smaller ones in between. We were sat there for about 3 hours watching it before we realised it was getting a little too dangerous as we got closer.
P&O Cruises featured my photo immediately and apparently the captain & bridge officers had been talking about this photo for quite a few days after! It was such an experience!
