A little more progress

Today started with fixing the bathroom sink which had a stupid design for the plug. The plug fell in all the time and the sink is small so it was likely to flood the bathroom. Silly design but sorted now, having removed the trap and used brute force on the plug to remove it altogether. Clearly we must have felt productive because we then decided to strip the wall paper from the walls in the landing. Rick decided to poke at the loose plaster on one wall which in turn led to removing it and taking the wall back to the bare brick. So after a lot of clearing up the hall now looks like today's blip. We still have more plaster to remove from the wall that is not shown in the photo and we intend to insulate it and then put a stud wall in front of the existing wall as our walls are single skinned and not insulated. At least we've made a little more progress towards a finished hallway. :-)
