Cows At Sunset

On the way back from taking Sophie home this afternoon we stopped on Street Hill to catch the sunset. There were several other photographers with the same idea.

These cows seemed more interested in the camera than the view, though I guess they'd had all day to enjoy it.

Our friends' son came round with his chain saw this morning to give the apple tree a much-needed prune. Sophie had great fun helping us tidy up the pruned branches and store them for kindling.
