Shifting seaweed
After yesterday's wonderful weather, today was a disappointment - back to the dull and drizzly!
I've taken on a couple of beds in a polytunnel about 30 minutes' drive away and my friend had delivered a trailer of seaweed for anyone who wanted it. Lorn Organic Growers has about 35 beds available in a number of tunnels and the charge just covers the rent and a little more for running costs.
It's ideal for those like me who don't have any ground suitable for growing vegetables, so I thought I'd give it a go.
This is the seaweed pile, together with another of the seaweed shifters! I use a fork to fill my barrow - he uses his hands! Actually he might be picking out stones!
