Tide Mill
After breakfast out, we all walked along the River Deben in Woodbridge, past the rowing club, numerous house boats and barges to the tide mill. A mill has been working on the site for 800 years or so. It was a bright sunny January day, so very cold in the breeze running inland.
Back in the late sixties /early seventies, the mill was clad in corrugated iron and blackened as can be seen in my grandad's painting of the building (see extra).
I shivered in my thick coat and back at home, I shivered under a blanket in front of the fire. This isn't right at all!
