The trouble with elderberry...

The landowner at the back of our garden decided after 20 years it was time to trim the hedges.  Out came his John Deere and a massive rotary hedge cutter.  And he thrashed the thing to bits!  Downside, he made a right bloody mess of it.  Upside, the sun reaches the back of the house!
