Tricia's operation was at 9 am but she didn't get back onto the ward until gone 1 pm but which time I had to head south to get the ferry. All seems to have gone well although she didn't like the sound of the hammering as the new joint was put in place. The disadvantages of not having as general anesthetic!
I just managed to visit Rodel church again - where this late Medieval Cross welcomes visitors. The ferry as ever performed its tortuous route through the Sound of Harris before I got home in the gloom. Knit and natter in the pub tonight so I escorted one of the other knitting widows for a pint or two.
