For Sydney......SEATTLE WOMEN'S MARCH....

I took the spirit and energy and enthusiam for two to the march because fellow blipper Sydney got very very sick late the previous night....She had even secured a pink pussy hat for us to share...she bought it right off the head of someone.  So I packed a couple cameras and a few snacks and left this am to secure a parking spot near the march's end.   I was successful..actually arrived quite a bit too early.  But I had time to roam around and figure a good place to be when they came in en mass.
     And what an AMAZING sight it was to see literally thousands and thousands and thousands of sooooooooo many strong women of all colors and sizes and smiles ...and men and children ...THIS IS  AMERICA....THIS IS THE MAJORITY....THIS IS HUMANITY   This day was filled with newfound strenght to unite and stand up to all that is good and decent and caring and kind and to all that celebrates EVERYBODY.. that celebrates diveristy, celebrates inclusiveness, celebrates who you are and who you identify as and repects all faiths, all ways to follow or not to follow God.....it was a day of peace and renewal from the insanity of seeing someone who represents the epitomy of corporate greed  be "installed".  As Maya Angelo wrote "AND STILL I RISE".  
      YES  AND STILL WE RISE!!!!!!!!!  "WE SHALL OVERCOME"  
ps...it was the largest march in Seattle's history with well over 100,000 strong...officially at 175,000!!!
