There I was half asleep, feeling mellow, so I smiled a tired smile.

It's been a few days, but you know what, not a lot has happened.  The C.A.T. has gone home again (hurray), the summer is rolling on, but no where near as hot as last year.

To be honest I can't hardly remember last year - it's hard enough to remember yesterday, but I am told with some authority that it's no where near as hot as last year.

They did go out on a long hike yesterday, but as ever I didn't get to go.  I'm not very good at long hikes.  Short ones is OK, but long ones is no good.

And that's about it really.
