Cute Cucumber .....

........ well, a cucumber "flower". (Thank you to Himself for allowing me to enter the hallowed greenhouse!)

I've decided that vegetable flowers are very underrated - I've also decided that cucumber flowers and tomato flowers are quite similar!

When we left on the 14th the cucumbers on this plant were around an inch long and now they exceed six inches but they are prickly - I have NEVER seen a prickly cucumber in the shops! Is this normal, I ask?

This day last week I was in Menorca - take a virtual trip there if you have the time - thanks.
