First Steam Tour 2017

Went over to Shap to see the first Steam train of the year come through, lots of people out to see it but light conditions were awful. very bright and hazy. Had to guess through the viewfinder what picture I was taking. At least there was plenty of smoke.
Came home after calling at Shap Chippie  via Pooley Bridge, Ullswater. Kirkstone, Thirlmere etc. Some lovely light over Windermere from Kirkstone but no good for photos by this amatuer.
A lovely day out even if not much to show for it.
