Burleigh Heads

The hire car was delivered to the hotel at 8am prompt;( a large white Mazda petrol automatic) that a couple of hours later saw us heading south for the short journey to Burleigh Heads on Queensland's Coastline, Oz.

Being the weekend, it was really busy as Australians live the outdoor life. We joined them by a couple of mile walk along Burleigh Promenade to the vanatage point where I took the blipfoto. A couple of miles later we just got back to the car when it started raining!

At 4pm, Frezabird met me in the hotel lobby for a blipmeet. It was great to see Geoff in person and have a chat back at the room over a cuppa, and introducing him to Mrs BB. Geoff was very helpful in suggesting places to visit locally.  I set my camera up for Mrs BB to take a photo and Geoff did the same with his. You can see us in the extra on our balcony overlooking Surfers Paradise resort. It's possible we could meet again as Geoff lives about 30 minutes away near Tamborine Mounatins which we will no doubt tour around. Thanks Geoff!
