Bring me Sunshine ...

None here today, wall to wall cloudy and dull.  This Crocus chrysanthus needed a little indoor warmth to open the flowers.  Yesterdays offering - thanks to all who starred and fav'ed it - was the first Spring crocus to flower here this year .... so this close relation is number two.  Plenty more to come :-)

Jamie had wheelchair basketball this morning, always good to chat with other parents who face challenges parallel to ours.  Otherwise a quiet day at home, this afternoon I put together a set of display boards to take to tomorrows local Plant Heritage meeting.  Last year I took a large display of crocus in flower but the colder weather means the photos, newspaper cuttings and books will form the main part of the display this month.
