Out at Sea - Kaikoura

This morning we were up early to try and get the sun coming up, as we are right on the coast. There was no magic this morning, but we went out on a Dolphin and Albatross encounter boat and had a fabulous time seeing Dusky dolphins as in this picture.
There were about 300 of them in the pod, swimming around and just wonderful to watch. I loved the clear water and their agility as they passed our boat. We also saw Hector Dolphins too. There are not so many of them on this coast line. The variety of birds were great too, and we all whizzed off many shots. It was calm and a lovely warm day for a change.
