A Seaman's Grave?

This is the grave of Edward Leith Harvey who died in 1894 at the age of 39. It's in the churchyard of St. John's, Bishopsteignton. It's a fine name and a fine grave too. I can't find anything about him on the internet though.


It's been a dreary day weatherwise. It was very cold and we walked down to the village for a 'Big Breakfast' in aid of the Scouts. The forecast said that the mist would clear then cloud would come in. I couldn't tell the difference, it's stayed pretty well the same but it was pretty well dark  at 3.30 when we came out of the supermarket a full hour before it's due to go down.
