A Manchester Oddity

I have lived in the same area of Greater Manchester for 30 years, and I must have driven past this cat over a 1000 times before I knew it was there.  But last summer I bought a book called “Manchester Oddities; Curious people and places around Manchester”, and there was a photograph of this cat.  Once you know it is there it is so obvious!
 
I have photographed it before, but have never been totally satisfied with the results – the best vantage point being in the middle of a busy road!  So I had another go today with a longer lens.
