Frosty Robin
When I went down the track this morning to check out the frost I discovered to my absolute delight that the three quarters of the pond was frozen! It was so thick in places that the small pieces of gravel we threw on it bounced and skimmed across the ice, making a peculiar but very satisfying sound.
This robin appeared quite close to me and if you look at the extras you can see how funny he looks puffed up against the cold. I've also added a shot of the icy pond in extras as I've never seen it like this in seven years of living in the area.
TheAphid has blipped the frost covered gravel if you'd like to take a look.
