Twelve Spotted Female

Libellula pulchella

This is the female version of the twelve spotted skimmer I blipped here. Maybe she's his mate?

One of the things I like about Lenape is that thanks to the dragonflies I can enjoy the outdoors for hours without a single mosquito landing on me. I need to find a way to get those dragons over to my yard! Maybe an advertisement? Free food! Free food! A thousand skeeeters for the taking!
