A postcard from ..........

Round and about the hotel.

Just waaaaaaay too cute to resist as the main photo today.

A thirsty chipmunk - known here as a Palm Squirrel - hotel guests often leave the coconut "drinks" by the sunbeds and they are cleared away in the morning - I was out early enough to see this little one indulging!!   There are a LOT of them about and at least one is very, very tame - he can be hand-fed and I even managed to run a gentle finger over his back before he scooted away.

In the extras today are:

A boat
A bridge
and my footsteps in the sand - as you can see the beach is not exactly crowded!!

Two more full days here and then I am on the move again - flying out Monday and three days in another location - not Sri Lanka - the silly quizzy thing starts again!!!
