Arrived safely

Arrived safely at our home for the next 8 days, the island of Koh Yao Noi in the Andaman Sea, off the west coast of Thailand.
The journey could not have gone better. I had not been looking forward to 2 long flights after all the trouble with my ear and face over the last month. However all went well and we arrived after 22 hours of travel which consisted of taxi, two long flights, taxi, speed boat and truck. 
The weather on arrival was overcast and soft drizzle - the first time that we have ever had rain in Thailand at this time of year. 
I'm writing this early Saturday after over 12 hours sleep, and the weather today is much better.
This is the view from the beach, just along from our little wooden bungalow, which is about 20 steps to the sea. No wonder we slept well, the noise of the waves lapping the shore was just lovely.
