Pirates lurking on the horizon

Little un's colour in and build yourself pirate ship... curtesy of Aunty Jo Jo... We've been having lots of fun putting this together and even more playing pretend games... Although it isn't always a pirate ship... sometimes she takes all the pieces from her animal puzzle into it and pretends it's Noah's ark...

She seems to have gotten into crafts recently and loves a bit of painting... how could I not be be proud to see the house scattered with crayons, or to see the blobs of paint appearing on t shirts each time she's been to nursery... 

I'm really glad that she's enjoying the experience of making and experimenting with art and colour and will be nurturing further messy experimentation...
