Open Dutch Swimming Championship 2017

It was a quarter past seven when I took the bus towards the swimming pool in Maastricht, to swim the 400 meters freestyle, in the swim event.
I have never swum in this relatively new pool and was exited about it. I like new pools. They are always looking bright and fresh.
This pool seemed to be designed for championships, with a warming up and cooling down pool next to the competition pool.

After my performance, still very early, I took the bus home again. I became seventh and am happy about that.
Bert and I drank a coffee and continued the journey I started this morning together.
We're on our way to my bro, sister in law and children.
