View From My Office Window - 1R

It has poured with rain all weekend, so I was quite looking forward to rising above the clouds as I set off for work today. I can report that the sun and blue sky are STILL up there!

This view is somewhere over Canada. We are heading back to San Francisco. Our route from London goes much further north than most people realise. We only enter US airspace in the last couple of hours of the 11 hour flight.

My friend, Jeff, who had visited us this weekend, returned with me on my flight. After slumming it in economy on the way over, he got a First Class seat on the way back. Oh, the beauty of standby travel! I worked in the First Class galley and cooked his dinner. It's always fun to have friends on board!
