Bright spot

This shrub is always (well so far) the first flower in the garden. It shows up well in the brightness of the day.

Two days in freezing cemeteries leaves me with cold feet but privilege to be with people. Sadly it meant I could not get to a friends funeral but I hear it was packed with those who loved her.
