Low Sun

As I have been complaining about the low sun this week I have taken a photograph of the sun through the trees. I took another one with the sun behind a tree, but I think this works better. The original intention was a shot with long shadows, but there did not seem to be any good long shadows in the forest.

I was out for my Friday morning walk with Cosmo at the time. In the extra she kindly posed for me on the compass in Denman Park.

It was very cold and there was a lot of frost around this morning, especially in Westhill, which though only a few miles out of Aberdeen, was three degrees cooler when I arrived there this morning.
