Not quite what I wanted

I really don't like editing.  I had this photo that I was trying to get to the point of dreamy and floating..the trees along the river.   But after attempting editing on three different sites (not Lightroom or Photoshop are I just don't) I think this is my most favorite but it still is not "right".  

I think the problem is the river..it just did not do the coloring that I wanted.

Not discouraged, just done with this one.  I think I was trying to hard to make it something that it is not.

The photos in the extras were taken yesterday..with only a little crop and some shadows.    My kind of editing.
