Last light standing!

I'm still a fan of old school street lights. They've so much more character about them than their modern day equivalents, even if they don't shine as bright.

This got me thinking of that lovely quote from Edith Wharton:

"There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it."

I think there is room in our lives to be both the candle and the mirror, at different times. However, I like the idea that you don't have to be the flame in order to spread light.
