Meg on the Moors
After a busy day in the garden we went for a walk on the moorland just up the hill from where we live. Meg decided she needed a rest once we were up the hill.
Behind meg in this shot is the municipal cricket ground, Meg is sat beside one of the granite boundary markers. On the hill in the distance is The Pimple, which is the local name for the building on top of the water tower/reservoir. It's a three sided building with seats on all sides which is a nice place to sit and look out over moorland and Tor's on one side, the town of Tavistock on another side and Devonshire countryside on the third side - one of my favourite places to sit and think.
We walked from here down to our local pub The Whitchurch Inn, a lovely dog friendly pub and finished off our lovely day with a quick drink before we walked home .
