Afternoon tea at the Ritz

Today we had a family outing into central London to celebrate my Mum's 80th birthday. We started off with a boat trip to Greenwich and the Thames Barrier and back to Westminster, followed by an indulgent afternoon tea at the Ritz.

We sipped Darjeeling first flush tea accompanied by finger sandwiches, scones and tea pastries.

Suitably revived we walked to the Houses of Parliament and along the Albert Embankment before heading back to Paddington and the HST home.
